Our services include:

  • Advice

We can provide a full consultation service to identify your training requirements and determine the best way to address them.

  • Training

We can work with you to up-skill your current workforce to ensure they have the practical skills and qualifications your organisation needs now and in the future.

  • Recruitment

We can take away the hassle, and substantial costs, associated with recruiting a new member of staff into your organisation. Like a recruitment agency we search for, screen and select suitable candidates for your vacancy, unlike a recruitment agency we won’t charge you for this service! You will be given a choice of candidates and will have the opportunity to interview each person who meets the criteria for your vacancy. You are under no obligation to recruit an Apprentice, however if you decide to fill your vacancy with one of our candidates we will be on-hand to continue to offer them our support and guidance to develop their skills and competencies through our Apprenticeship programme.

Throughout any Apprenticeship you undertake with STC either with a newly recruited member of staff, or an existing member of your workforce, we will provide you with:

  • Personalised support for you and the Apprentice.
  • Fully qualified staff and assessors.
  • On-the-job assessments.
  • Nationally recognised training qualifications.

Apprenticeships help bring valuable skills into your business with the government's support.

They’re suitable for people at any level so you can hire someone new or upskill an existing employee. New apprentices must have a working contract in line with your current employees.

Apprentices are taught new knowledge and skills to achieve occupational competence. This will help them make a noticeable impact to them as an individual and within your organisation. An apprenticeship is a 3 way partnership that requires the learner, employer and training provider working together in order to produce a learning programme that can show intent, implentation and impact.

20% Off the job Training

Off-the-job training is defined as learning which is undertaken outside of day-to-day work duties and leads towards the achievement of the apprenticeship. This training takes place within the apprentice's normal (contracted) working hours. The off-the-job training must be directly relevant to the apprenticeship
