If you want to be aq plumber, our training courses will give you an introduction to the construction industry, outline relevant legislation and industry standards and provide the ideal introduction to the plumbing and heating industry.The course is also great for anyone working in property maintenance, facilieis services or multitrades.
You will be able to identify and make basic repairs to plumbing systems. Gaining the basic skills necessary to undertake basic plumbing tasks, you will be able to progress onto an apprentivceship or NVQ in order to eventually become a fully qualified plumber.
This one week course is designed as a basic insight into plumbing, giving you the basic hand skills necessary to carry out small plumbing tasks.You will start with a comprehensive health & safety induction and gain underpinning knowledge in construction that will help should you decide to progress onto a further programme of study.
You will cover:
- Plumbing systems and fittings
- Jointing, bending and pressure testing copper tube
- Dealing with valves, taps, cisterns
- Plumbing pipework
Our two week course which can also be accessed as funded if you are 19+ and claiming state benefits is designed as a basic insight into plumbing, giving you the basic hand skills necessary to carry out small plumbing tasks.You will start with a comprehensive health & safety induction and gain underpinning knowledge in construction that will help should you decide to progress onto a further programme of study.
You will cover:
- Plumbing systems and fittings
- Jointing, bending and pressure testing copper tube
- Dealing with valves, taps, cisterns
- Plumbing pipework
This three week course is designed as a more comprehensive insight into plumbing, giving you the basic hand skills necessary to carry out small plumbing tasks.You will start with a comprehensive health & safety induction and gain underpinning knowledge in construction that will help should you decide to progress onto a further programme of study.
You will have plenty of time to gain your Level One Certificate and can then go on to more complex fixtures and fitting including fitting and bleeding a radiator, installing a cloackroom suite and working with low carbon steel fittings.
You will cover:
- Plumbing systems and fittings
- Jointing, bending and pressure testing copper tube
- Dealing with valves, taps, cisterns
- Plumbing pipework
This four week course is designed as an enhanced insight into plumbing, giving you the basic hand skills necessary to carry out small plumbing tasks.You will start with a comprehensive health & safety induction and gain underpinning knowledge in construction that will help should you decide to progress onto a further programme of study.
You will have plenty of time to gain your Level One Certificate and can then go on to more complex fixtures and fitting including fitting and bleeding a radiator, installing a cloackroom suite and working with low carbon steel fittings. In week four you will be able to focus on any area of your choosing and may decide to combine this with another complimentary trade such as tiling.
You will cover:
